Reiki Music
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. Administered by the purposeful placement of hands, it can also be practiced as "distance healing". Whether in the same room as the client or a distance away, the practitioner performs a preliminary ritual of focus and intent before the session begins.
Reiki is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" ("ki" or "chi") flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. The premise is that this energy becomes blocked and we become unwell. Reiki training is the process by which a practitioner becomes attuned to the movement of this energy by working with a reiki Master. The healing takes place when the practitioner and client work consciously together, deciding to improve the client/oneself. This is a necessary part of the Reiki healing experience. In order for the Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client must accept responsibility for her or his healing and take an active part in it.
The following story describes one experience a Reiki practitioner and her client had with Reiki and the music of Daniel Kobialka. Even if you're not a Reiki practitioner, this music will relax you and help make you whole.
Reiki music takes the listener on a mystical voyage where a subtle life energy can be activated to promote self-awareness and self-healing of body, mind and spirit. Kobialka's music enhances specific aspects of Reiki energy thereby amplifying the healing.
