Featuring: Jan Kobialka, cello, & Gayla MacCallum, organ. A musical celebration of favorite melodies and hymns, with specific scriptural references for each track. Performed on the Lively-Fulcher Pipe Organ at St. Patrick's Church, Washington, D.C.

Jan Kobialka, brother to Daniel, began his recording career at the age of 17. He performed with the US Air Force Band as principal cellist for 18 years. For the past 34 years he has freelanced in the Washington, DC area.

Gayla MacCallum is organist at the Messiah United Methodist Church in Springfield, Virginia and has worked in the area of church music for 14 years. She continues her organ studies with Dr. Mary Beth Bennett at St. Patrick's Church.

The complementary tones of the cello and organ convey the passion and depth of well-loved church hymns such as Be Thou my Vision and This is my Father's World,  as well as the warmth and majesty of traditional, familiar melodies such as O Waly, Waly and  Amazing Grace.
